Iringole Kavu is a consecrated grove and forest Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is situated in Kunnathunad Taluk of Ernakulam district in Kerala. The local people believed that Lord Parasurama, who is known as the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, had consecrated the temple. There are 108 Durga temples in Kerala, and one of them is a sacred place that features an awesome blending of divinity and wilderness. The temple is surrounded by lush greenery, and the whole area is rich in biodiversity. Different species of birds, plants, and trees can be found here. The temple becomes very attractive during the rainy season because of the gentle sounds of the raindrops and wildlife.
