    History

A long time ago, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu passed through Berhampur during his South India tour. There is a village named ‘Nimaikhanada’ Where he took some rest under a tree near a Mishra Bandha Pond. Then, the villagers took him to the village. He rested under  a big neem tree and chanting  the holy name of krishna. One night, the family of Misha had a dream where they got instructions from Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to build a Temple for him. That’s how the temple was built.ISKCON Brahmapur
