Jayadev Pitha is a park and museum situated in the heart of Uparasahi, Odisha. This park is a complete family package. It has a Statue of 10 avatars of lord Vishnu. There are also some deities Statues here. You can see ancient writing papers, Radha-Krishna idols, and other things there. There is a small Temple back at the museum. It is an old Temple, and the caretaker took great care of it. The park has been maintained so well. It is neat and clean.

History

The place is named after the renowned Sanskrit poet, musician, and dance composer Jayadev. On the birth anniversary of Jayadev pitha is celebrated every year at this place. It is worth visiting.

The museum has a good collection of ancient idols, statues, pictures, and many other things. There is a small Temple back at the museum. It is also a good place to do picnics and all. Especially in the winter, many have come to do picnics. In the morning and evening, it is more crowded. During weekends and holidays, people come to spend some family time.

By road: I think by road is the best way to get there. You can hire a car or cab to reach your destination directly. Otherwise, you can take a bus to reach Bhubaneswar first, then take an auto rickshaw to get anywhere. It is well connected to other Cities.
