    Jhansi Fort is one of the prominent forts in India, situated on the top of the hill called Bangira, in Uttar Pradesh. It is also known as a Jhansi ki Quila. From the 11th to 17th century, It was used as a fortress of the Chandela kings in Balwant Nagar. During the British colonial rule, in 1857, this fort was used as an important residence to the people. It draws a lot of visitors every year.

    This fort is about 312m in length and 225 m in width. Jhansi fort lies in the middle of the city. It is very close to the Jhansi Bus Stand.

    By Air: Gwalior is the nearest Airport from this place. It is about 103 kilometers away from Jhansi. It is a domestic airport. The another closest airport is the Delhi International Airport, which is about 321 kilo away from Jhansi. It is the easiest way ever. Taxis and motor  vehicles are available outside the Airport to reach any place in Jhansi. From the Airport, you can easily go anywhere using the vehicles.

    By Rail: Jhansi railway station is the nearest railway station to this place. It is about 3 kilometers away from the main Jhansi fort. It is the most comfortable journey ever.

    By Road: Jhansi bus stand is the nearest bus stand from this place. Jhansi   is well connected with other Cities. Vehicles are available from here.So you can take any kind of vehicle to reach the place.
