    Kalipur beach is located in the Kalipur village of Diglipur island, the northern part of Andaman and Nicobar island. The beach is also known as the beach of turtle nesting and is famous for that. It is a beach that is home to four rare types of turtles. They are Olive Ridley, Leather Back, Hawksbill, and Green Turtles. Anyway, this place is absolutely charming to travelers.

    Actually, there is not any specific history with this travel gateway. The beach has been known among the locals as a sea turtle nesting spot. There are many kinds of turtles and they lay eggs annually between October to March. Here you can also see the baby turtles crawling into the sea in the morning and adult turtles laying eggs late in the night. How beautiful it is!

    By Road: Kalipur beach is 300 km away from Port Blair. So, you can hire a car or taxi or a private bus to reach the beach. Diglipur is 18 km away from the beach so you can also take a taxi or bus to reach there from Diglipur.

    By Waterways: Through waterways, you can reach the beach and there are 3 options that are the regular ships from Kolkata, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam port. The seat reservation system can be done online. From Port Blair, you can hire a speed boat to reach there.
