It is thought that Kaikei gave Devi Sita this Bhawan right away upon her union with Lord Ram. Devi Sita and Lord Rama have a private palace like this. Remodelled by Vikramaditya. Vrish Bhanu Kunwari later rebuilt and repaired it, and it still stands today. The principal idols within the garbhgrih (holy place) are those of Lord Ram and Devi Sita.

    Attraction

In addition to its religious significance, Kanak Bhawan has drawn a lot of attention to its magnificent architecture and historical significanceThe temple has elaborate sculptures and carvings along with a variety of architectural styles. Beautiful pictures of scenes from the epic Ramayana, which tells the story of Lord Rama’s life and deeds, adorn the interiors of Kanak Bhavan. Kanak Bhavan is visited by devotees who pray for Lord Rama and Sita’s blessings. For people commemorating marriage, the temple is very significant, and going to Kanak Bhavan is seen to improve the relationship between married couples. Similar to numerous other Ayodhya temples, the atmosphere surrounding the temple is electrifying with bhajans, pujas, and a large influx of devotees from all walks of life, particularly during holidays like Ram Navami, Diwali, and Dussehra.

    History

As soon as Devi Sita married Lord Rama, Kanak Bhawan is supposed to have been given to her as a gift by Kaikeyi. According to mythology, King Dasharath requested that a celestial palace be constructed at the location, and Vishwakarma oversaw the construction process. It is thought to be Lord Rama and Devi Sita’s secluded location. Even Hanuman scrupulously adhered to the rule that no other male was permitted into the castle. It is thought that Vikramaditya constructed the temple’s original structure, which the Queen of Orchha Vrishbhanu Kunwari restored in 1891 AD. Dwapar Yug Maharaj Kush is credited in one of the edicts with erecting the statue of Lord Ram and Devi Sita in Kanak Bhawan. It is a widely held view, nonetheless, that Lord Krishna first placed a different set of deities on the mound before King Vikramaditya and Samudragupta erected the temple. Three sets of dedicated idols, supposedly representing Lord Rama and Devi Sita, are claimed to be present in the temple. Rani Sri Vrishbhan Kunwari installed the largest, and King Vikramaditya installed the medium one after that. The smaller one was supposedly handed to a woman by Lord Krishna, who asked her to bury the idol in the spot where she would bury her corpse after passing away. It was later said that none other than Vikramaditya would have discovered this.
