Krishna Sayar Park is one of the most beautiful places in Bardhaman. This place is located in the main city of Bardhaman. This place is so beautiful that you just wanna visit there more and more. It’s an amusement park type place. You can visit there with your family, friends and your loved ones. This place is well Maintained. It is the perfect place to enjoy your day. This park is full of breathtaking scenery and allows you to enjoy picnics as well as your family and close ones. It is suitable for all types of ages. People come here to enjoy some time away from the rush of the city. The environment of the park is beautiful, and has lush greenery and aesthetic artwork.

Attraction

This place is so beautiful that you just wanna visit there more and more. You feel so refreshed after visiting there. A lot of migratory birds used to come, but now the water body has become polluted, the plastic waste and intense lights from the Krishna Sayar Utsav (that was stopped to save nature here, but resumed again for feeding local politicians’ pockets) have made the situation for birds worse. This place is under the University of Burdwan. You can visit there in the evening. I think that’s the best time to visit this place. You can also enjoy the fresh air and also enjoy the evening view from this place. So my suggestion is to visit this place. Hopefully, you guys will love this place for sure.

History

This place is a place of historical landmark by the Bardhaman Raj Family and witness to the historical changes of Bardhaman and Bengal. Krishna Sayar was built as a big lake in 1691 by the then-king of Bardhaman, and it covers a total area of 33 acres. Good place with scenic beauty, especially during winter. Otherwise, there is no such history of this place. This place is made for entertainment purposes. This place is also well maintained and decorated. You can visit there safely.

Inside/Outside Views

This is an outdoor type of place. This park is so big, and inside this park, there is a huge lake at the center and an art gallery to visit. You’ve to buy tickets to enter this place, and the atmosphere is really calm and quiet, and it’s so refreshing. It’s a part of Burdwan University. besides, every year at the beginning of the month of January, a fair
which is called FULMELA and has been organized by University Students’ Authority Members. That time this place was so crowded but the fair is so popular, so you must visit there at that time. I think winter is the best time to visit this place. After sunset, this place is closed because, at that time, this place is not safe. This place is full of greenery. You can sit there for hours and hours without doing anything, and you feel so good for sure. So it is highly recommended to visit this place.

By rail: The nearest railway station from this place is Bardhaman Junction. After reaching Bardhaman, you can take a rickshaw to your destination.

By road: I think by road is the best choice to reach there. Firstly you have to take a bus to reach bardhaman. And after reaching bardhaman city you can hire a cab or auto rickshaw to reach your destination. Its the easiest way ever.
