    Maha Maya Devi Mandir is a little history behind this place. According to the people, it is more than 400 years old. During the 17 th century, this Temple was built by Jalim Giri baba, and his family. They belong to the Goswami Family of ths village. He said to everyone that he has seen maa durga in his dreams and she commanded him to build a Temple here. In 1997, the gram panchayat took the responsibility of this Temple from the descendants of the Goswami family.
