One of the most beautiful places to visit in Cuttack is Mahima Mishra Park. It is a private park suitable for all age groups and one of the most peaceful places for mental satisfaction. Sanitation, cleanliness, and security facilities are good in comparison to any nearby public or private parks.
It is nicely decorated with all the beautiful things and is a great place, but the only con with this place is it’s not open to the public every day.  It opens once or twice a year only. The owner’s office at Link Road Cuttack gives permission for entry. The original view of the park is really just splendid. The Authority has designed replicas of all heritage monuments like the Taj Mahal, Lalkila, etc. It is a must visit place if you are visiting Cuttack when it is open.

    Attraction

Mahima Mishra Park, CuttackThe Mahima Mishra Park has beautifully built and carved replicas of India’s heritage monuments like the Taj Mahal, Charminar, India Gate, Lalkila, Qutub Minar, a church, a mosque, etc., which makes it a ‘must visit’ place. A small collection of various types of colorful birds will take you to feel nature closely as well as heartily. A kids’ park with swings and a toy train makes it different for small families. A good collection of fierce dogs and their loud barks sometimes make it a little fearful as well as exciting. Apart from this, this private park is a well-known Mahima Misraji farmhouse, which houses a huge number of fruit trees. Organic vegetables, farming, and colorful flowers show plants, and many more can be enjoyed here. The purity of nature will certainly blow your mind. Here you can get:
Playground: Children feel more comfortable in this park.

Restrooms: Well-furnished rooms with beautiful furniture are available here. Swimming Pool with a boating facility is attached to the dormitory.

Dog-friendliness: Most beautiful dogs are kept in a specific building, and the authorities take care of their sanitation and hygiene. Proper training is given to dogs by the trainer.

Picnic area: Two kitchens are available for cooking, and well-arranged dining spaces are available in park areas. It is best for the Ring ceremony and birthday celebration.

    History

Mahima Mishra is a self-made businessperson. He established ‘Orissa Stevedores Limited’ (OSL) in 1978, which reached its pinnacle by securing the No. 1 stevedore status at various seaports. The park is named after him.

A ‘Shiva‘ area is very beautifully designed beside a small hill (which is manmade) with many Lingams and Nandis. A high jet of water flows from the head of a large Shiva statue, with marshals burning the whole day. There, the intent to create a true abode for Shiva can be easily felt.
