    1486 and 1516 this palace was commissioned by Tomar ruler, Raja Man Singh, and finds itself inside the complex of Gwalior fort.

    And for this, this palace is named.

    Inside/Outside Views

    In this palace, there are 2 open courtyards Border by apartments on two floors and this four-storeyed palace has large rooms. The other rooms were for the royal ladies to sit and enjoy the music. There are also two undergoing basement floors and the walls were painted in blue which was a touch of green and gold look striking.

    This palace is surrounded by many monuments like Sha Jahan Mahal Jehangir Mahal and the Gujari Mahal and a special light show is organized every evening for the visitors.

    10.00 am to 7.00 pm is the visiting time of this place.

    • For adults – INR 100
    • For Adults Foreigners – INR 400

    And for children 5-12 yrs students and defense personnel the entry fee is INR 50.

    By air: Gwalior Airport is the nearest airport to this place so you can easily reach there by air.

    By train: Gwalior Junction is the nearby Railway Station from this place. So after reaching this station you can take a taxi to reach this place.

    By road: By road is the best way to reach there. You can hire a car or take a bus to reach this place.
