    Manipur State Museum is one of the famous museums in Manipur. It was inaugurated in 1969 by Indira Gandhi. It is located in the heart of the city near Polo Ground. It is a major tourist attraction and the museum exhibits materials of archaeology, ethnology, natural history, etc. The museum is very well maintained.
