History

In 2005, the Sikkim Government opened this park for the general people. Shri Pawan Chamling, Chief Minister of Sikkim inaugurated this place.
But now because of low maintenance, its situation is not so good enough.

Namchi Rock Garden is a place rich with the scenic beauty of many rare hilly flowers. It is a colorful eye-catching and mind-soothing garden. The beautiful rocky path with flowers on its two sides is superb. A pull made over the lily pond also increases the beauty of this garden. This park has a vintage look for its rest sheds viewpoint and mossy rocky ways. Walking down the stairs of this garden is walking in heaven’s way. This park has a space for children with swings, slippers, and other elements. Benches for sitting and enjoying the view.
