Attraction

Facilities provided by the zoo are affordable and comfortable as well. Through the jungle, the zoo offers safari rides which last for about 2 hours and are very exciting for kids and animal enthusiasts. There is a lake which is known as Khandwa reservoir which is spread over 130 acres. There are boating rides in the zoo on this lake. There are also many species of birds that are free to fly in the jungle such as love birds, emu, owls, pheasant golden, and so on.

Inside/Outside Views

The herbivores safari has covered an area of about 30 hectares where many species are widely spread such as blue bull and more especially the sambar deers and spotted deers. It is a great shelter for animals surrounded by a forest of trees. Tiger safari is a safari that is spread over an area of 20 hectares and gives a wide exposure to a lot of Bengal tigers. There is also a lion safari where Indian lions can be spotted and it is spread over 20 hectares. There are also other carnivores and omnivores such as mongooses, leopards, four-horned antelopes, and jackals apart from these, which roam freely around the forest area.

There is a bear safari with about an area of 20 hectares which makes the visit more exciting with a collection of Himalayan black bears, albinos, and so on.
