    Naulakha Temple is one of the renowned temples in India and this temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Sita. This temple is also known as Janaki Temple. Almost rupees nine lakhs or nine hundred thousand is the cost for the construction of this temple and then the name Naulakha is given to the temple.

    History

    Queen Brisbhanu Kunwar of Tikamgarh built This temple in 1911 A.D.This temple is built where Mahatma Sukrishor, a contemporary of Chaturbhuj Giri, Sita’s golden idol is found there and Sita is said to have lived there. This temple was built on the holy site and there Sannyasi Shurkishordas had found the image of Goddess Sita.

    Naulakha TempleThis temple is famous for itself.  The structure of this temple, the history, the environment are all so good and that’s why people are attracted to this temple. This temple is built in fully bright white and it is a three-storied structure that is made entirely of marble stone.

    This temple has 60 rooms and all these rooms are decorated with the flag of Nepal, engraving, colored gel, and printing with beautiful lattice turrets and windows. There is a ghat outside the temple, but this ghat is always close by.
