The Nedumkayam Rain Forest is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. The fresh air and clear water rejuvenate you. The jungle, located approximately 15 kilometers from Nilambur, is home to unusual flora and fauna. Manakadavu waterfalls are accessible by a three-hour journey. It is situated 18 kilometers from Nilambur. It covers 2.3 hectares. Bison, elephants, tigers, macaques, deer, and wild cats live in the woodlands. There’s also an elephant-taming camp. A wooden rest house built during the British colonial times is still in use and offers a panoramic view of the woodland.
