Rising above Chowrasta Square, Observatory Hill View Point is located in the charming hill town of Darjeeling immediately above Mall Road, approximately two kilometers from the Darjeeling Himalayan railway station. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Darjeeling because it has a panoramic view of the mountains and is home to several Buddhist and Hindu temples, such as the Tibetan Memorial Shrine, Mahakal Temple, and Kanchenjunga Temple. Adventure seekers who wish to hike and then enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains, as well as religious individuals, are the main visitors to this tourist destination. Travelers from Mall Road may reach Observatory Hill in about fifteen minutes by car. Along the way, there is a small, steeply inclining trail that requires passing through a small cave that is respected by temples. The route is lined with vibrant flags and little yet conspicuous shrines, all of which are filled with the calming sound of devotional belts. Elderly individuals are advised to take breaks on side benches throughout their strenuous walk to the tourist site, as it can be very exhausting.
