    Inside/Outside Views

Inside the Mandir is an idol of Paatal Devi, and it is a worshipping place. There is also a Shiva Linga inside the Mandir. There is also a place for tie changing, where people used to tie red cloth and place their wishes to the goddess.

The outside view of the Mandir is like a picture. Hills and Bottomland, with green bushes and blue sky, will attract everyone’s attention, no doubt. A Vringi (worshiper of God Shiv) idol is in the front of the Mandir. A red flag is always uplifted at the top of the main Mandir. A source of water called Gauri Kund is behind the Mandir. There was a belief among people that taking a shower in the Kund could free them from diseases. Gauri Kund was filled with water in the past. But now it is almost dry. A little water is in the Kund nowadays.

Paatal Devi Mandir was surrounded by four water flows coming from the mouth of the tiger statue. Three of the four water flows have become dry, and only one has a thin flow now.

The temple has several pillars. All the pillars and walls are really old, and the fungus on the walls proves its ancientness.
