    Patna Museum is located at Buddha Marg in Patna, Bihar. It is located in the heart of Patna. Though Patna is situated under the Bihar state. Patna Museum is called the state museum of Bihar. The museum was built to collect and preserve the historical monuments of Patna and its environs when the Indian subcontinent was under British occupation. The British were the creators of this museum. They noticed the need to build this museum after the partition of Bengal and Bihar.  This is why this museum was built.
