History

Pazhassi Raja Archaeological Museum was established in 1976 and is managed by the Kerala State Archaeology Department. It was named after the famous Kerala ruler Pazhassi Raja, who was a prominent figure in the resistance against British colonial rule. The museum offers a deep dive into the rich cultural and historical heritage.

The view of this place is amazing. The architecture remains of the British era. The Museum has a great collection of Hindu idols of Gods. The Museum house has a collection of historical artifacts from 1000 BC to 200 AD. Sculptures from the Indus Valley Civilization to every Corner reveal fascinating glimpses of our past. By air: Karipur International Airport is the nearest to the airport from this waterfall. So you can reach this place easily.

By rail: Kozhikode Railway Station is near the Soochipara Waterfalls. So after reaching Kerala, you can hire a bus or go to Soochipara Waterfalls.

By road: You can hire any bus, cab, or car to reach Arippara Waterfalls directly.
