Muradi Dam is another name for Ramchandrapur Dam. It is situated near Muraddi Village in the Purulia district of West Bengal, India. It was built in 1991, and it was also a part of the project named Ramchandrapur Medium Irrigation project. It is a worldly dam that is 899 meters long. It has a concrete spillway and it has a maximum height of 15 meters above the foundation. Machkhandajore River is used to build the dam, and the authority aimed to use the dam for irrigation purposes. Because of the scenic beauty of the dam, the village turns into a popular tourist destination.
