    Rani Durgavati Museum is one of the famous tourist destinations in this city and this Masum is located in the center of the city of Jabalpur. It was established in 1964 when the valiant Gond queen Rani Durgavati sacrificed her life fighting for her motherland and its two structure that stands majestically in the middle of this city.

    This Museum is famous for its architectural work and sculptures not for its history. Because there is no history behind this museum. It’s a man-made place where many ancient things are reserved

    When you enter this museum you will see several statues kept in the open and each with all the necessary information. The statues of this museum are very beautiful sculptures and one of the masterpieces is the sculpture of wild boar at the entrance of the building. On the ground floor, there are so many ancient statues of Jain and Hindu gods and the first floor contains letters written by Mahatma Gandhi and original photographs of him and other freedom fighters.

    There are a collection of rare coins ranging from 2nd BC to 1609 BC that keeps you glued to the place.

    10.00 am to 5.00 pm is the visiting time of this place. For avoiding rush you can visit this place in the morning time.
