    Inside/Outside Views

    In this temple,
The main temple on top of the rocky outcrop is iconic and circular. Inside the larger circle, there are 64 slots, each with an exquisitely carved large rock statue. Many of the statues have the heads of various animals, such as cats, leopards, cows, antelope,  lions, and so on.  These statues are unique and different from any Hindu or Buddhist statues you might have seen. After visiting there, you feel here is out of this world. There’s another deep pond on the other side, between two hilly outcrops, and a Boating facility is available during the tourist season. You will be lost in deep thought, looking at the water and the temples for sure
There are uncountable small temples throughout the hill, the largest among which is the Somnath temple. There’s a large lotus pond near Somnath temple.
