Rimbi River breathtaking vista of Rimbi Waterfalls can be found 5 kilometers from Darap Village and 12 km from Pelling. The Rimbi waterfall is formed over the Rimbi River and is accessible from Yuksam and Khecheopalri Lake. Adjacent to the waterfall lies one of Sikkim’s oldest hydropower installations. The majority of the villa towns in West Sikkim, such as Geyzing, Tigjuck, and Pelling, which were founded in the early 1970s, get their electricity from this power plant. The waterfall flows into the Rimbi River, which both locals and visitors frequent for a variety of recreational pursuits like swimming and fishing. Try the regional dish Assala, which is made using a unique species of fish that can only be found in this area, whether or not you enjoy fishing. While traveling to the Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, all tourists make a brief break here. While summer and winter are the best seasons to visit Rimbi, the monsoon season brings significant water flows and advice against traveling in the autumn.
