The Sajnekhali Wildlife Sanctuary is a forest of  362 square km area with most of the mangrove scrub, and swamps in conjunction with many wildlife including the Royal Bengal Tiger, crocodiles, deers, and other natural wild creatures. This place was set up as a sanctuary back in 1976.

    Attraction

    The main attraction of tourists in the Sajnekhali Wildlife Sanctuary is the watchtower. The watchtower gives the finest glance of the wild lives. The Royal Bengal Tiger, the most attractive wildlife of Sundarban National Park can be seen from this watchtower; a close view of the tiger gives the visitors a very tremendous thrill. Not only tigers tourists could also have a glimpse of deer, wild boars, and crocodiles. A total of 25 people can be hosted by the watchtower. One of the most interesting facts about this place is there is a sweet pond where all those wildlife came to drink water and people could mesmerize these moments by getting very close to the wildlife. Alongside there is also a Mangrove Interpretation Centre, a Bono Bibi Temple alongside a Crocodile Park in the Sajnekhali Watchtower Complex. From this tower quarter, one can get a much more close view of wildlife. Not only this there is a bird watcher in which visitors get a fortune to watch seven species of the bird Kingfisher.
