How to Reach

By Air: The closest airport to the Monastery by air is Bagdogra Airport (IXB), which is around 160 kilometers away in West Bengal and close to Siliguri. It takes approximately four to five hours to get to Pelling directly from Bagdogra Airport via shared taxi or taxi hire. As an alternative, you can go from Bagdogra to Siliguri and then take a shared jeep or bus to Pelling.

By Rai: Around 150 kilometers from Monastery, New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the closest major railway station. It takes roughly four to five hours to go to Pelling from NJP via shared taxi or taxi hiring. You can also take a rickshaw or taxi from NJP to Siliguri, then from Siliguri to Pelling, and take a bus or shared jeep.

By Road: The Monastery can be reached by road from Gangtok, about 130 kilometers. From Gangtok, you can go to Pelling by bus or cab, and the trip takes about four to five hours. Pelling is roughly 135 kilometers away if one is traveling from Siliguri. To get from Siliguri to Pelling, you can take a bus, share a taxi, or hire one.
