    History

    Serdup Choling MonasteryLate Serdup Dungzin Jigme Wangchuk Rinpoche and his brother Khachoed Tulku Dudjom Dorjee combined built Serdup Choling Monastery in 1967. Presently, his son Von. Serdup Dungzin Lodoe Chophel, a custodian of this monastery. This monastery follows the Nyingmapa Sect of the Jhangter lineage.

    Inside/Outside Views

    Serdup Choling Monastery is a wonderful looking erection that catches anyone’s eye at a very first glimpse. In the premises of this Monastery statues of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), Santaraksita and Tri Detson are seen. Prayer flags adorned this monastery. Guru Padmasambhava paintings are seen on the outside and on the walls.
    A huge prayer wheel set on the monastery premises really provides a holy vibe.
    Serdup Choling Monastery is situated against the backdrop of the serene views of Kanchenjunga. So no doubt it has a wonderful outside view.
