    In North Tripura, the Shilchhara Buddha waterfall is one of the top tourist attractions of North Tripura. Pecharthal Falls in Tripura is located near Unakoti in North Unakoti Reserve Forest from Unakoti.  Pecharthal Falls in Tripura is an undiscovered and very beautiful place with a combination of a natural waterfall and a cave which is a very rare combination. Shilchhara Buddha waterfall in Tripura falls in Silchar under Andharchera ADC village in Unakoti district. The road condition towards Pecharthal falls is not so good and it is always in bad condition one can reach the spot only on foot and one has to walk upwards from the main road.

    How to Reach

    By Air: For, air connectivity Dharmanagar has to depend upon Aizwal Airport. Which is located in Mizoram about 83 km away from the town. The nearest airport to reach Pecharthal is Agartala airport and one has to take a cab from Agartala airport and the distance from airport to Pecharthal is about 171 km by road. Kumbhirgram Airport is another airport that can be used to reach Dharmanagar, it is located 88 km away. From the airports, one can take buses or cabs to reach their desired place.

    By Train: As the town has a railway station, it is easier to reach Dharmanagar by train. The primary railway station is The Dharmanagar Railway Station, in the North Tripura district and it is also the oldest railway station in the state. From the station, passengers can take a cab or bus to reach their desired place.

    By Road: Across the state of Tripura, roads help to connect the different districts as also with towns and districts of neighboring states like Assam and Mizoram. Dharmanagar and Agartala help transport passengers with ease, there are long distances that ply between places like Dharmanagar and Guwahati. Operated by private carriers, there are AC sleepers and non-AC buses. There are also available cabs for tourists.
