History

Shree Ananta Basudev Temple was constructed in 13th Century. The temple dates back to the period of Chandrika Devi, who was the daughter of Anangabhima. During the reign of the king Bhanudeva. A commemorative inscription that marked the foundation of the temple can be found in the British Museum’s collection. Now, this temple is under the government.
