Alakhnath Temple is a significant Shiva shrine in Bareilly and one of the four well-known Natha temples in the area. The primary akhara for the Naga Sadhus in the area, this shrine is devoted to Lord Shiva. Even though Lord Shiva is the main deity of Shree Baba Alakhnath Ji Mandir, there is a massive statue of Lord Hanuman in the expansive temple courtyard. The idol is a prominent building in the area, rising to a height of 51 feet. Alakhnath Temple is one of the four Shiva (Natha) temples located in Bareilly’s four corners.
