    History

    During the flood of the Damodar River In 1913 AD (1320 Bengali calendar), this Kali sculpture was discovered in the western part of Bardhaman city. The age of the sculpture has not been determined yet. Otherwise, there is no such history of this place. You must visit this temple; the power of Maa Kali is so visible here, and you can feel it after visiting there.

The idol has eight arms with various attributes like a lotus, conch, discus, bow, sword, and noose. The deity’s body has intricate carvings, and the head is adorned with a finely crafted crown. Outside of this temple, there are so many beautiful trees, and this place is decorated so nicely.
