Shri Bade Hanuman Ji Mandir is on the bank of two sacred rivers, Ganga and Yamuna Sangam, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. The devotees here worship the Hanuman Ji. “The temple has been constructed below ground level.”. This is the only underground temple in the world where the seat of the idol of Lord Hanuman is tilted backward. The length of the idol of the Lord is 8.10 feet, which remains below the temple. Legend has said that the entire goodness of Sangam is only completed if you see Hanuman Ji. The temple celebrates festivals like Narak Chaturdashi, Ram Navami, and Hanuman Jayanti. The best time to visit the temple is during the winter season. This time, the weather remains pleasant, and you can feel serene from the atmosphere.
