Avian aficionados will find paradise in the Sidkeong Tulku Bird Park, which is tucked away in the wetlands between Rabdentse and Pemayangtse in Sikkim. This park was created in 2015 as a result of collaboration between the Sikkim government and the travel and tourist sector to provide a refuge for both migratory and permanent bird species. Sikkim, which is the perfect place for this kind of project because of its amazing scenery and abundant wildlife, is tucked away in the Himalayan foothills. The park, which bears the name of Sidkeong Tulku, the 10th Chogyal of Sikkim and a pioneer of modern forestry, features more than 600 different species of birds among its rich array of flora and animals. The park’s raised bridges and well-kept paths make it simple for visitors to see the diverse birdlife.
