    The Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple is a sacred site located in Tiruchanur, just 5 km from Tirupati in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a temple dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi or Alamelumanga, who was the consort of Lord Venkateswara. Padmavati is basically an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. The idol of the deity is placed facing east.
