    The Sultan Bathery is an eye tower, built at some point in the generation of Tipu Sultan, currently most effective with a decaying shape exits. During the go-to of Tannibhavi beach, visited the location. The location has been renovated and painted, thereby becoming clean. It is a completely small shape, and it has 30 peculiar stairs to attain the top.

    Tipu Sultan built this watchtower to guard the entry of warships into the Gurpur River. The black stone battery had been given the appearance of a miniature fortress. This tower has not stood the test of time and extreme weather and today stands in ruins. This is a popular tourist spot as you have beautiful views when you are on the battery. This is also a navigation point to reach Thannirbhavi beach.

    Boloor is known for the watchtower built in the era of Emperor Tipu Sultan, so the area surrounding the decaying building is its namesake today. The watchtower was built 15 years before his death in 1784. C. The site was formerly known as the Sultan’s Battery.

    Sultan Bathery is a watchtower amidst the beauty of nature. Said to have been built by Tipu Sultan, it is located in Boloor, Tipu Sultan’s military base. This black stone historical monument was built to prevent warships from entering the river, which was the main route of the English invasion. The fort was built in a unique way, making it clear that it used to be the emperor’s main dockyard and arsenal. Sultan Bathery is not only an architectural marvel dating back to but also offers a magnificent view of the Arabian Sea from the top of the building.
