Beatles ashram is one of the famous ashrams located at Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. This place received a lot of achieved and hype-wide recognition after the Beatles band of liver proof came to stay in 1986. The Beatles ashram is visited by locals as well as tourists.

History

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi established this ashram, and it was in operation before the Beatles Yogi’s arrival. Who was interested in learning and developing an educational career in this field? Maharishi used to teach transcendental meditation to individuals.

In 1968, the British band The Beatles arrived at the ashram, and before coming to this place, the Beatles band had participated in Maharishi’s seminar in Wales. They enjoyed more facilities than the students and were supplied with 24-hour water, private toilets, and electric heaters. The Beatles band had to leave this place before Their planned duration of stay after the Maharishi was accused of sexual assault. This site was finally opened for public visits and was officially declared a tourist hub in 2015.

Inside/Outside Views

In this ashram, there is stunning dome-shaped construction, Amazing graffiti works, and a beautiful picture of the members of the Beatles band painted on one of the interior walls of the red Bha van. Place, you can be also seen here the mysterious writings done on the walls of Siddhi Bhavan and Anand Bhavan and the beautifully designed meditation Chambers of Chaurasi Kutia. This place is so beautiful.
