Hyder Ali started the construction within the walls of Bangalore Fort. But Tipu Sultan completed the construction in 1791 during his reign. After Tipu Sultan’s death in the Fourth-Anglo, Mysore War British used this palace for their secretariat. Now it is a popular tourist spot in Bengaluru and all over India.

    There is a brief history behind Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. First of all Hyder Ali started the construction of this palace but he cannot complete it. Tipu Sultan completed the construction during his reign in 1791. But now the Archaeological Survey of India keeps going to the palace. It is situated at the center of Old Bangalore near the Kalasipalyam bus stand as a tourist spot.

    The inside looks of Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace is very attractive and majestic. The entire extruder is made of Teak. On the fast floor, there are four (4) rooms in the corner. The wall of this palace is full of paintings of Tipu Sultans. The garden in front of the palace adds extra beauty. The central room is converted into a little museum. Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace is full of treasures such as Tipu Sultan’s clothes, crowns, weapons, portraits, etc. When you reach the last floor you will find an open central area which is called Durbar Hall. The Sultan used this area as his court. More ever This palace is full of royal things and beauty.
