    The history of Ayyampara Hills is associated with Mahabharat’s Pancha Pandava. According to that, in the time of Pandavas exile, they take shelter in the hills. It is also said that the hill’s name, “Ayyampara,” is derived from the word “Anchupara,” which means five rocks.
    Other legends depict that there was a temple called Ayyappa Temple is the origin of the hill’s name.

    In recent years, Ayyampara has gained popularity as a tourist destination for its serene natural beauty and trekking, hiking opportunities.
