History

Gurudwara Shri Dukhniwaran Sahib The old handwritten document which is still present in the Gurudwara and a village named Bhag Ram of Lehal went to the neighboring town of saifabad and requested Shri Guru Sri Tegh Bahadur Ji to visit this village and bless the peoples who had the deadly and mysterious disease. So After hearing this news Shri Guru Sri Tegh Bahadur went to this village and spend some time alongside the village pond by preaching and meditating under a Banyan tree on 24th January 1672. After this, the villagers got rid of that deathly disease. So Dukhniwaran Sahib was the name given to the place where Guru Ji sat and the pond became famous for its curing virtues.
