    Lal bagh palace has manifested the lifestyle of the Maratha Rulers and it’s situated on the outskirts of Indore city. It was the trend among the late Indian Nobility and the gorgeous interior was largely dominated by European architecture and Italian marble pillars. Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar built this place and the area of this place is about 113311.9^8 sq m.

This place was built by the Holkar dynasty which was one of the most powerful Maratha Rulers in India. This place is also known as Red Palace. This place is renowned for its European-influenced interiors among the finest surviving of this period.
