Pari Mahal known as The Palace of Fairies is a seven-terraced garden. Its located at the top of the Zabarwan mountain range, overlooking the city of Srinagar and the southwest of Dal Lake in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is an example of Islamic architecture. Its a patronage of art during the reign of the then-Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.

Also known as the ‘Abode of Fairies’, this Mahal is a six-terraced garden that sits on top of the Zabarwan mountain range and overlooks Dal Lake. This mahal looks straight out of a fairy tale and has good reasons to justify its title It is just a 5 min drive from Chashmasahi and is a unique historic monument.

The gardens have since become the property of the Government of this city.

This Mahal is visited by tourists for the Sunset view and its terraced gardens. One can also get a good view of Dal lake from this place. It was indeed worth a visit and The old building structure requires maintenance and restoration.
