There is a small check dam on the top of the falls where you can swim there.     By Air: Cochin International Airport is the closest airport, located about 50 km away from Thrissur. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Thrissur, Kerala. The journey takes approximately 1 or 1.5 hours.  From Thrissur, you can take a taxi or other local transport to reach the waterfall, which is about 20 km from the city center.

    By Train: Thrissur Railway Station is the nearest station to the waterfall, and the distance is about 20 km. From the station, you can take a local bus to reach Pattathippara Waterfall.

    By Road: Bus services are available from Thrissur to other locations.  From the Thrissur Bus stand, you can take a bus or hire a taxi to reach Pattathippara waterfall. The waterfall is 20 km away from the city center.
