It was a College before becoming a University. This Institution was elevated to the status of a University on 3rd February 2015. This University offers a lot of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level courses. This University is located in the district headquarters of Uttar Dinajpur, Raiganj, West Bengal. It also received land of 11.9 acres at Raiganj, Just 3 km away from this university. The second Campus will start very soon.It maintains a clean and hygienic environment. The faculty members are student-friendly. This university has 22 departments in graduation, and 23 Departments in post graduation and 17 Departments offer in PHD and M-phil. The Campus is very big, and all types of sports are played here. Sometimes, Concerts are arranged here. The environment of this university is so good that it gives you a peaceful environment in which to study perfectly.
