    Introducing different concepts of science to people in an interesting and miraculous way so that it can attract people to know and learn more, Nagaland Science Centre is an amazing place. This science center is the most interesting tourist attraction of Nagaland located in Dimapur behind Naga Arcade and is one of the. Through triumphant approaches, it promotes learning.

    Nearby Nagaland Science Centre there is a supermarket where you can shop to the fullest. Besides, The Naga Shopping Arcade is also near where you can find lots of amusing products starting from gadgets, clothes, accessories, etc. Some of the most interesting places, Kachari Ruins, Medziphema Town, Chumukedima Village, and its waterfall, Niathu Resort, etc are near to visit the science center as well.

    Under the Department of Science and Technology, this science center was built by the Government of Nagaland. National Council of Science Museums, the Ministry of Culture, and the Government of India have constructed the science center.  By the most respected and honorable former Chief Minister of Nagaland, Shri. Neiphiu Rio, Nagaland Science Centre was opened to the people finally, on 14th September 2004. Ideal knowledge and information for the younger generation to control their temper is also provided by this science center.  To popularize science in Nagaland and uplift science literacy through exhibits and science programs, is the objective of the science center.  To learn science in a new, fun, and exciting way all these programs enable visitors.

    Located behind the Naga Arcade, Nagaland Science Centre is one of the top tourist attractions in Dimapur with different concepts of science introduced to people in a wonderful way. Inside the Science Centre, there are three galleries  Our Senses, Children’s Corner, and   Fun Science. With an inflatable dome letting you peek deeper into the sky at the night,  there is a Tara Mandal. Increasing the learning tendencies, there is a science park as well which has some specially designed exhibitions.

    Entry & Others Fees

    To get access to the Science Centre, a nominal entry fee is required which is worth spending for such an adventure. The required entry fee for Nagaland Science Centre is INR 10 per person. Police/ military personnel in uniform, differently-abled, and children below 3 years old can get the adventure free of cost.

    How to Reach

    By Air: Well connected to Guwahati and Kolkata, the only airport in Nagaland is in Dimapur.  The nearest airport will be in Guwahati or Kolkata when you are in need of an international flight. From the airport, you will get transport easily by which you can reach the science center.

    By Rail: In Nagaland, Dimapur is the only railway station as well which is only connected to Kolkata and Guwahati. To kick start the holiday in the Northeast, visitors will have to first get down at Guwahati, and then take another train to reach Dimapur. After reaching the station the way to reach the park is quite easy as there are almost all kinds of transport available outside the station.

    By Road: Dimapur is well linked to some other parts of the state. Connecting  Dimapur to Kohima, Imphal, and the Myanmar border at Moreh, National Highway 39 is there. NH 36 connects Dimapur with Doboka and later Guwahati via NH 37.  One can easily find Auto Rickshaws or rickshaws here to reach from one sightseeing place to another. You can reach the Dimapur bus stand by Nagaland State Transport Corporation buses. From there, you can hire an autorickshaw to reach your destination, the Nagaland Science Centre.

    Do not damage or don’t make any harm to the places you’re visiting. Dimapur sees a heavy downpours that can cause landslides so you must avoid visiting here during the monsoon.
