    Sheesh Mahal is one of the most beautiful structures inside the Agra Fort. Its located on the western side of the masaman Burj and this structure was one of many additions made by Shah Jahan. This place was built Between 1631-1640 AD. It also served as the imperial bath of the emperor and this mahal is famous for having extra-thick walls which were built to keep the interiors pleasant and cool.

    History

    Sheesh Mahal, the mirror palace, is part of the private palaces of the Maharajas at Amber Fort.

    Between 1845-1862 this place was built by Maharaja Narinder Singh and was behind the main Moti Bagh Palace. The Palace was built in a forest with Gardens, Terraces, Fountains, and an artificial lake and this place is also known as the Palace of Mirror.

    Sheesh MahalThis Mahal, it’s like the work of Perfection. Its arches ceilings and walls are adorned with exquisite irregular geometric and floral patterns. Inside this palace There are two halls of equal size, each measuring 11m by 6.5m and they are connected through a wide arched opening in the center and two narrow passages on the sides. The entry of light inside these chambers, a ventilator, and two Doors were installed in the southern wall.

    By air: Allama Iqbal International Airport is the nearest airport to this place. You can easily reach there by air.

    By rail: The nearby railway station from this place is Lahore Junction. So after reaching Lahore station you can take a taxi to reach this Mahal.

    By road: You can easily this Mahal By road. You can hire a car to reach this place directly. Otherwise, you can take a bus to firstly reach Lahore. After reaching the Lahore bus stands you can take a taxi or cab to reach this mahal
