    Beautiful Place in Tezu District MuseumThis Museum was established in 1956 to bring awareness and to express the local cultural arts of the tribal community to people. The museum carries the story of local tribal people. First, the museum was on the Darrang College later in the year 2002 it was shifted permanently to the British historic building Dak Bungalow.

The objects are sculptures,  manuscripts, antiquities, copper plate inscriptions, manuscripts, Ahom period cannons, and crafts of various communities and satra institutions. The collection of the museum reflects the story of the culture of the tribal community of Arunachal. The museum carries the history of the local tribal community. The collections of the Tezu District Museum are very much unique. There are traditional art paintings, ornaments, and other traditional stuff.

    By Railway: New Tinsukia Junction is the nearest railway station to Tezu. It is 120 km away from Tezu. And another close railway station is the Dibrugarh railway station which is 170 km away from Tezu. From the station, visitors can hire a taxi, cab, or use a bus to reach the destination.

    By Road: Tezu can be reached by Bus. There are many private and government buses available in Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, and Guwahati from where visitors can easily reach Tezu.
